Let’s know why this decision was taken
. Explaining the reason behind this decision, the company said that it will affect creators of gambling content, including casino games and apps, but it has become necessary to do so to protect young viewers. Even now, redirecting viewers to gambling sites and apps on YouTube is considered a violation of the rules, but after the new rules come into effect, if a creator claims guaranteed returns from any such site or app, his content will be deleted.
Age restriction to be imposed on videos: Tightening the rules, YouTube has also decided to impose age restrictions on content promoting online casinos or apps. This means that such content will no longer be shown to signed-out users and users under the age of 18.
