Technology company Dell has asked its global sales team to return to work from the office. The company said that employees who are able to work from the office will have to come to the office after September 30, 2024. They will work from the office for 5 days.
According to the memo of news agency Reuters, the company has taken this decision to grow skills and take advantage of the collaborative environment. The company has clearly stated that work from home i.e. remote mode should happen occasionally, it should not happen regularly.
Employees come to office for the first three days
The company expects its sales team to work in the office with customers and partners for five days. Earlier, the sales team used to work from the office for three days and work from home for two days.
Dell has said that if the members of the sales team cannot go to Dell’s office, they can continue to work in remote mode. However, the company will take more information from these employees.
Since the Corona epidemic, many tech companies started the work from home mode. But now many tech firms want employees to come to the office two to three days a week. Last week, Amazon.com asked its employees to return to work from the office. The company made it mandatory to work from the office for 3 days.
