WhatsApp Ending Support for These iOS Versions
According to the notification, WhatsApp will end support for versions prior to iOS 15. This means that WhatsApp will not work on an iPhone running iOS 15 or earlier. This change will be effective from May 5, 2025.
Changes from May 5
WhatsApp currently supports iOS 12 or newer. But starting May 5, the platform will only support iPhones running iOS 15.1 or later.
What You Can Do
There are a few things you can try. First, upgrade your iPhone to the latest iOS version available. For example, if your device supports iOS 15.1 and you’re still using iOS 15 or earlier, you can update it and continue using WhatsApp after May 5, 2025. .
