Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in Kerala and Mahe on 29 and 30 September. Here, the Meteorological Department has also predicted heavy rains in the mountains. There may be heavy rains in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. This time the monsoon weakened after becoming active in Himachal.
The weather department has issued a warning regarding rain in Bihar. Recently, it rained in many districts of the state including the capital Patna. Today (September 25) also, the monsoon is going to remain active in most parts of the state. The weather department has warned of heavy rain and thunderstorms in four districts today.
Weather condition in Delhi
People facing heat in Delhi for the last two days can get relief. According to the regional weather forecast agency, the sky will remain cloudy in Delhi today (25 September 2024). At the same time, there may be light drizzle at some places. The Meteorological Department has predicted the maximum temperature in Delhi today to be around 36 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature to be around 26 degrees Celsius. Also, winds can blow at a speed of 8-12 km per hour.
Heavy rain alert in these states
The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for heavy rains in Konkan and Goa, Central Maharashtra for Wednesday. At the same time, there may be heavy rains in Gujarat region, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Karnataka, Assam and Meghalaya. An orange alert has been issued for this.

Rain forecast in West Bengal
Due to the low pressure area formed over the Bay of Bengal, most parts of West Bengal may receive light to moderate rain during the next two or three days. While heavy rains have been predicted in some areas. The Meteorological Department has also warned of landslides in sensitive areas of Darjeeling and Kalimpong districts. Heavy rains have been predicted in the districts of North and South 24 Parganas, Purba Medinipur, Murshidabad, Nadia, Birbhum, Hooghly, East and West Bardhaman, Bankura, Purulia and Jhargram in South Bengal till September 26.
Heavy rain expected in Mumbai
The weather department has issued an orange alert for Mumbai on Wednesday. It has been raining in the metropolis since Monday. From 8.30 am on Monday to 8.30 pm on Tuesday, the suburbs received 75 mm of rain and the city received 16 mm of rain. Apart from Mumbai, an orange alert has been issued for Thane, Palghar and a red alert for Raigad on Wednesday. Due to the system formed in the Bay of Bengal, heavy rain is expected in Mumbai and its surrounding areas.
