Weather Update Today: IMD alerts about rain in these districts in next 24 hours, will provide relief from heat

The problem of monsoon break in UP is now going to end. Within the next 24 to 48 hours, clouds will rain again in all the districts of UP and the weather will be pleasant. After the monsoon becomes active, good rain is expected in many districts of the state for three to four days.

According to the Meteorological Department, the low pressure area of ​​​​monsoon has now shifted from South India to Madhya Pradesh. Its effect will be seen in UP in the next 24 hours.

According to the weather department’s forecast, in the next 24 hours, there may be light rain in UP’s Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Bijnor, Pilibhit, Amroha and nearby districts. Apart from this, movement of clouds will be seen in many districts including Lucknow, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Prayagraj, Kanpur, Bhadohi, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, Ghazipur, Jaunpur. Due to local monsoon effect, rain may also occur in these areas.

There will be rain in 75 percent of the districts

BHU meteorologist Professor Manoj Kumar Srivastava said that after July 24, 75 percent of UP may receive good rainfall. This situation will continue till the last week of July. In such a situation, people will get relief from the humid heat and the temperature will also decrease by 4 to 5 degrees Celsius.

Rapti’s havoc in Gorakhpur

Due to continuous rain in the hilly areas, there is a flood situation in many districts of UP. The Tapti river in Gorakhpur has been flowing above the danger mark for the last 7 days. Due to which many areas are completely submerged. Apart from this, the water level of Ganga in Varanasi has started decreasing at a slow pace. However, it is expected that the Ganga will rise again in the coming days.
