Weather Update: Meteorological Center has issued yellow and orange alerts for heavy rains in these districts for 2 days

Lucknow: The rain in Uttar Pradesh will continue till July 9. The sun will come and go intermittently. The humidity will also increase but till July 9, there will be intermittent heavy rains in all parts of Uttar Pradesh. This is the reason why the Lucknow Meteorological Center has issued yellow and orange alerts.

According to Mohammad Danish, senior scientist of Lucknow Meteorological Center, the districts where heavy rain is forecast today i.e. Saturday include Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharth Nagar, Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Hardoi, Farrukhabad, Unnao, Lucknow, Barabanki, Rae Bareli, Amethi, Sultanpur, Ayodhya, Ambedkar, Nagar, Baghpat, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras, Kasganj, Etah, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Sambhal, Badaun and its surrounding districts. Yellow alert has been issued for today in these districts. People here need to be cautious because it will rain in these districts tomorrow i.e. on Sunday as well.

Orange alert issued in these districts

Meteorologist Mohammad Danish said that an orange alert for heavy rain has been issued for today in Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur and its surrounding districts. He said that there is a forecast of heavy rain in these districts tomorrow as well.

So much rain in the last 24 hours:

Senior scientist of Lucknow Meteorological Center, Atul Kumar Singh, said that during the last 24 hours, 72 mm rain was recorded in Barabanki, 4 mm in Hardoi, 11 mm in Lakhimpur Kheri, 67 mm in Gorakhpur, 27 mm in Ballia, 32 mm in Bahraich, 40 mm in Prayagraj, 10 mm in Fatehpur, 19 mm in Bareilly, 10 mm in Shahjahanpur, 20 mm in Moradabad, while 2 to 3 mm rain was recorded in Meerut and the Taj city of Agra.
