The Meteorological Department said that the cold wave is decreasing in Delhi-NCR, the temperature has increased compared to the previous days. An increase in the maximum and minimum temperatures was recorded on Saturday.
According to the Meteorological Department, people are going to get relief from the severe cold that is currently prevailing in Delhi-NCR. The temperature has increased by 4 degrees compared to the previous days. Usually, the temperature in Delhi-NCR reaches below 5 degrees in the last 15 days of December, but this time the temperature has reached only 11. A drop in temperature was recorded in Delhi-NCR as well as in the surrounding states. Due to the drop in temperature in Punjab and Haryana, a sudden cold (Punjab Weather Alert) has been raised. However, the temperature may come down further in the plains due to the western disturbance.

IMD scientist Krishna Mishra said that there has been no significant change in the minimum temperature in most parts of northwest India. He said that the mercury is likely to fall again today, but there is no possibility of a return of the cold wave.
Rain continues in the south
The Meteorological Department has said that heavy rains will continue in South India in December. According to the Meteorological Department, Tamil Nadu may receive heavy to very heavy rains on December 17 and 18. Along with this, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, south interior Karnataka may also receive heavy rains, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert for fishermen. According to the Meteorological Department, fishermen have been advised not to go to the Andaman Sea on the 15th and the southern part of the Bay of Bengal and the coasts of Tamil Nadu on the 16th.
