Whereas in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, South Rajasthan there will be rain and storm for three days from 25th November to 27th November. According to IMD, there will be heavy rain in Kerala, Mahe and Lakshadweep today, while an alert of heavy rain has been issued in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal today and tomorrow.

A new Western Disturbance is about to hit North-West India, due to which there will be a change in the weather. There is going to be light rain in North-West India between 26 and 28 November. Apart from this, there may be rain, thunderstorm and lightning in Uttarakhand on 27th November.

Apart from this, Andaman and Nicobar Islands will receive light to moderate rain on November 26 and 27. At the same time, heavy rain can be seen on 28th November. Whereas, if we talk about the weather of the last 24 hours, heavy rains were recorded in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal.

Cold wave continues in Kashmir

The mercury rose above the freezing point at most places in Kashmir last night, providing some respite from the cold and fog to the locals. Officials gave this information on Friday. Officials said the minimum temperature in Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, was recorded at 0.9 degrees Celsius. He said that for the first time in five days the minimum temperature in the city reached above the freezing point.

Bandipora, Baramulla, Ganderbal, Kokernag, Kulgam and Kupwara also recorded minimum temperatures between zero degrees Celsius and 1.7 degrees Celsius. Pahalgam in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district recorded a low of minus 3.3 degrees Celsius. Pahalgam was the coldest place in the valley.

After this, the temperature in Shopian was recorded at minus 2.5 degrees Celsius. Gulmarg in north Kashmir recorded a minimum temperature of minus 2.0 degrees Celsius. Meteorologists have attributed the increase in minimum temperature last night to western disturbance. Due to increase in temperature, there was less fog in the morning.
