Weather Update Latest News: Heavy rains have been continuing in many parts of Kerala since Friday morning, due to which normal life has been disrupted due to waterlogging on the roads and traffic jams. The weather is bad due to Cyclone Storm Dana which hit the coast of Odisha.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy to very heavy rains (Latest Rain Alert) in the state till October 27 due to cyclonic circulation over the Arabian Sea near the southern Kerala coast.
Dark clouds are covering the sky at many places. It should be noted that orange alert means very heavy rain (6 cm to 20 cm), while yellow alert means heavy rain between 6 to 11 cm.
Along with Kerala, a yellow alert for rain has been issued in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Lakshadweep. Along with fog, cold has also entered Uttar Pradesh. Dense fog has covered many places. Mildly cold weather is being felt in the morning and evening.
On the other hand, fog has knocked in the country’s capital Delhi (Delhi NCR Weather Update). The temperature in Delhi has started decreasing in the morning and late night. There is no forecast of rain here.
