Weather Update: According to the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of any major change in the minimum temperature in eastern India for the next few days.
The temperature is likely to drop further by 2-3 degrees Celsius in the next 2-3 days. Temperatures are likely to remain stable in northwest and central India for the next five days.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a very heavy rain warning for Tamil Nadu, Karaikal, Puducherry, Yanam and coastal Andhra Pradesh. A yellow alert has also been issued for heavy rain in Rayalaseema. Apart from this, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Puducherry are likely to receive heavy rainfall from November 29 to 30.
The IMD has warned that dense fog will prevail in various areas of Himachal Pradesh during the late night and morning hours on November 29. Similar weather will prevail in Chandigarh, Haryana and Punjab till November 30.
A deep depression over southwest Bay of Bengal will intensify into cyclonic storm Fangal within the next 12 hours as it moves northwestward. The cyclone is expected to cross the northern Tamil Nadu-Puducherry coast between Karaikal and Mahabalipuram as a depression around November 30 morning. In this, the wind speed can be 45-55 km per hour to 65 km per hour.
Smog in Delhi
is in the severe air quality category as it was recorded at 351 AQI level on Thursday morning. Clear skies are expected in Delhi and the National Capital Region. In the morning, surface wind is expected to be less than 4 kmph from easterly direction and there will be fog along with fog.

Light to moderate rain at one or two places with heavy rain at one or two places over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Interior Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Eastern districts of Andhra Pradesh, South Odisha, South Chhattisgarh and Telangana may receive light to moderate rain on November 29.
