After light rain in Punjab, cold will increase. Due to the current conditions, the temperature of the cities of the state will drop by 2 to 3 degrees within a week. The Western Disturbance has become active towards the Western Himalayas, due to which there is a possibility of snowfall in the mountains in the coming days. If it snows, the cold will increase in the plains. Experts say that the weather will open only after rain, after which the true color of cold will be seen.

According to weather information website Skymet Weather, Tamil Nadu and Andaman and Nicobar Islands may witness light to moderate rains with heavy rains at some places. Light to moderate rain may occur over Lakshadweep, Kerala, Manipur and Mizoram. Light rain may occur over Sikkim, South Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Gilgit Baltistan. Dense fog may occur in parts of East Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana. There may be rain in many places.
