Rain Alert: Good news is coming soon for the people of many states including Uttar Pradesh who are waiting for the monsoon. Monsoon is going to knock in UP in the next three to four days, which will bring relief from the heat.

Talking about the weather of the last 24 hours, heatwave conditions prevailed in southern Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, while maximum temperatures of 40-42 degrees Celsius were recorded in western Rajasthan, southern Uttar Pradesh, northern Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, eastern Rajasthan and Gujarat. Apart from this, heavy to very heavy rains occurred in Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Bihar, western Madhya Pradesh, northern interior Karnataka, Arunachal Pradesh, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Jharkhand, eastern Madhya Pradesh.

The Meteorological Department said that the SouthwestMonsoonhas reached Maharashtra, remaining parts of Vidarbha, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, some parts of Jharkhand. In the coming three to four days, the monsoon is going to reach Gujarat, remaining areas of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar and eastern Uttar Pradesh.
According to the Meteorological Department, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub Himalayan West Bengal will receive heavy rains for the next five days. Apart from this, Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Andaman and Nicobar Islands will also receive heavy rains for the next five days. At the same time, warnings of heavy rains, thunderstorms and lightning have been issued for Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada for the next five days.
Talking about South India, Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe, Lakshadweep, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal are also going to receive heavy rains for the next five days. Apart from this, talking about North India, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan are also expected to receive heavy rains for the next five days.
