Talking about the last 24 hours, heatwave conditions were recorded in Chandigarh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Western Rajasthan, Eastern Madhya Pradesh. At the same time, maximum temperatures were recorded between 43-46 degrees Celsius in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Western Rajasthan and Eastern Madhya Pradesh. Very heavy rains occurred in Meghalaya, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Manipur. Dust storm also occurred in Madhya Pradesh.
According to the Meteorological Department, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim are going to receive light to moderate rain for the next seven days. On the other hand, if we talk about the southern states, Kerala, Mahe, Lakshadweep, Andaman, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema are going to receive light to moderate rain for the next five days. On the other hand, Marathwada, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra will also receive rain between June 4 and 6.

Talking about the plains, rain alert has been issued in Punjab, Haryana, Western Uttar Pradesh on June 4-7, Eastern Uttar Pradesh on June 4 and 5 and Rajasthan on June 5 to 8. At the same time, warning of thunderstorms and lightning has also been issued. Dust storms are predicted in Western Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi on June 4 and 5, Western Rajasthan on June 5 to 8 and Eastern Rajasthan on June 6 to 8.
