Weather Red Alert! Darkness will prevail after rain, IMD has issued a danger alert, disaster in UP Punjab too

The Meteorological Department said that in the last 24 hours, there has been heavy snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Muzaffarabad, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh. Apart from this, light rain and snowfall occurred at some places in Uttarakhand. Winds coming from the mountains have brought down the mercury in the plains. An alert has been issued for light rain in Delhi NCR, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan on January 1-2. The Meteorological Department said that light rain was recorded in some areas of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal.

Fog havoc

Temperature Forecast

According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature in western Uttar Pradesh and the surrounding NCR region may drop by 4 to 6 degrees Celsius in the next 5 days. Along with this, the temperature is likely to drop by three to four degrees Celsius in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Rajasthan by January 1. The Meteorological Department said that in the next 24 hours, the temperature in central India i.e. Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh region will drop by three to five degrees Celsius. Maharashtra, Gujarat and Karnataka may see a drop of two to four degrees Celsius in the next 5 days.

Cold wave and cold day warning

After the rain, the weather in North India is constantly changing, although the sky is clear, the temperature is constantly falling. Strong winds have changed the weather. It is getting cold in plains like Shimla and Manali. In view of this, the Meteorological Department has issued a cold wave warning. The Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of cold wave in Delhi, Punjab and Haryana for the next 24 hours to 72 hours. There is a possibility of cold wave in the entire Rajasthan from today i.e. from December 30 to January 2. Also, the Meteorological Department has issued a cold day alert in Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department says that there is a possibility of cold wave in Haryana and Chandigarh as well.

IMD Fog warning:

The sky is likely to remain clear in almost all parts of North India. As soon as the sky clears after rain, the threat of one thing increases rapidly: fog. The Meteorological Department has issued a fog alert for the plains as well as the northeastern states. The Meteorological Department has said that dense to extremely dense fog can be seen in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Rajasthan in the morning and late at night. Along with this, a dense fog alert has been issued in Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura from today till January 2.

IMD Rainfall Alert

The Meteorological Department says that although rain has fallen from the plains, light rain and heavy snowfall have been seen in the hilly states. The Meteorological Department said that light rain has been recorded in some areas of the hilly states of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. There has been heavy snowfall in the high altitude areas. Talking about South India, the Meteorological Department says that there is no possibility of such heavy rain. However, rain was recorded at some places in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal and Andaman Nicobar yesterday.
