Weather Report: The mood of the weather has changed in Punjab. Due to this, rain has fallen across Punjab after strong winds since last night. During this, hailstorm has also occurred at many places.
Winds blowing at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour have given the farmers a sigh of relief. Hailstorm occurred in areas around Pathankot, Batala, Mansa, Bhawanigarh, Bhadaur. Hailstorm occurred in Jalandhar, Tarn Taran and many other areas in the evening. Due to the hailstorm, a white sheet of snow was spread on the roads.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department says that the weather may remain like this for the next one or two days. The weather may worsen in Pathankot, Batala, Gurdaspur, Jalandhar, Tarn Taran and Patiala.
Due to the influence of a Western Disturbance in North India, there is a possibility of rain in the next 24 hours. Heavy rain is likely in many states in the next 24 hours. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, heavy rain up to 70 mm is likely in Arunachal Pradesh. Along with this, there is a possibility of rain with thunder and lightning in the Gangetic plains of West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. Along with this, heavy rain is likely in many areas of Sikkim and Darjeeling. Along with this, an orange alert has been issued for heavy rain in Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha in the next 24 hours.
There will be rain till February 25.
The Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of a new western disturbance in the northwest on February 24. Due to this, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The period of rain and snowfall is likely to continue from February 24 to 26. There is a possibility of rain in Andhra Pradesh, Mahe, Kerala and Yanam from February 21 to 25. Along with this, there is a possibility of cyclonic circulation over Assam. Due to this, there is a possibility of heavy rain in the northeastern states. Along with this, there is a possibility of winds blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour in the northeastern states.
