Rain is wreaking havoc in Kerala. The death toll from Wayanad landslide has reached 151. More than 250 people have been rescued during the rescue operation. More than 90 people are reported missing right now.

The Meteorological Department (IMD) has also predicted heavy rain in many districts for today (31 July). In view of the situation, school holiday has been declared in 11 districts of Kerala. Heavy rain is also expected in Uttarakhand and Delhi.

Weather condition in Delhi
People in Delhi are still troubled by the heat. Meanwhile, there is a possibility of rain today. For this, an orange alert has been issued in Delhi. IMD said that the month of July is likely to end with rain in Delhi. IMD has issued an alert of torrential rain in Delhi NCR for the next three to four days. Today, the maximum temperature of Delhi is expected to be 35 degrees and the minimum temperature is 28 degrees. If there is good rain during the day, the temperature may come down a bit. Let us tell you that so far in July, Delhi has received 82 percent less rain as compared to the same month last year.
Heavy rain alert in Uttarakhand
At the same time, heavy rains are continuing in Uttarakhand as well. A red alert has been issued for heavy rains in the next 24 hours in many districts including the capital Dehradun. An order has been issued to keep all government schools, private schools and Anganwadi centers closed up to class 12 in Dehradun, Tehri, Nainital. According to IMD, heavy to very heavy rains are expected in some districts on Wednesday, July 31.

The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for Karnataka today. At the same time, there is an orange alert in Goa, Kerala, Maharashtra, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand today.
