Monsoon has departed from most parts of the country, but rain is still continuing in some places. The Meteorological Department has warned that the low pressure area formed in the Arabian Sea may turn into a depression in the next 12 hours. Also, another new low pressure area is likely to form in the Bay of Bengal, which will lead to major changes in the weather.

Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh: Heavy rains likely from October 15 to 17.
Other affected states : Rains will continue in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Mahe, Lakshadweep, Karaikal, Yanam, Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Rayalaseema till next week.
Heavy rain on October 16: Heavy rains are forecast over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, and Rayalaseema on October 16.
Rain in Gujarat too: Moderate rains are likely over Gujarat for the next two days, along with rains also likely over Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, and Chhattisgarh.
The weather may be affected by rain in different parts of the country in the next few days, so people have been advised to remain alert.
