Varanasi: The rain continues in UP. The temperature has also dropped due to the intermittent rain in eastern and western UP for the last 2 days. The maximum temperature in different districts has dropped by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius.
The Meteorological Department estimates that for the next two days, there will be movement of clouds in the sky and the rain will continue.
With the beginning of the month of August, monsoon made a strong entry in UP. On Saturday (August 3), there is a rain alert in 60 percent of the districts of UP. In these, there may be more rain in some and less in others. According to the Meteorological Department, on August 3 (Saturday), there may be rain in Ghaziabad, Noida, Gorakhpur, Bareilly, Rampur, Basti, Bahraich, Meerut, Mathura, Jhansi, Agra, Lucknow, Varanasi, Ayodhya, Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, Jaunpur, Chandauli, Bhadohi, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, Ghazipur and nearby districts. BHU meteorologist Professor Manoj Kumar Srivastava said that the monsoon turf i.e. low pressure area is formed in Uttar Pradesh. Due to which it is raining in eastern and western UP. The rain will continue in many districts of the state for the next 24 to 48 hours.
Now there is relief from the humid heat.
Due to the intermittent rain in different districts of UP for the last 48 hours, people have got relief from the humid heat. In many districts, the maximum temperature has come down to 33 to 35 degree Celsius. Whereas, a decrease of up to 2 degree Celsius in the minimum temperature has also been recorded in many districts.
