Weather Alert! Orange alert issued for storm and rain till May 26 in 19 districts, know the condition of your district

Weather Latest Update: In the month of May, the position of the Sun is completely direct in parts of North India. During this time, the direction of wind coming from Pakistan is towards North India.

Due to this, a rapid increase in temperature is seen. Its effect was visible at different places in Bihar since last one week. The maximum temperature of the day had reached 45°C. Severe heat wave also continued in many districts. People were in distress due to the heat. But now there is hope of getting relief from this heat.

Scientist SK Patel of Patna-based Meteorological Center said that a big change is going to be seen in the weather from today. Rain-like conditions are likely to persist across Bihar from today till May 26. Due to this, the temperature will decrease and there will be relief from heat wave but the possibility of thunderstorm will increase. Because of this, be careful.

How will the weather be today?

Today i.e. on 21st May, there may be heat wave in some parts of Bihar but there is a possibility of rain in most of the districts. There is a strong possibility of rain and thundershowers along with thunderstorm in all the 19 districts of North Bihar. For this reason Orange Alert has been issued.

These districts include West Champaran, East Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan, Saran, Sitamarhi, Shivhar, Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Samastipur, Supaul, Saharsa, Madhepura, Araria, Kishanganj, Purnia and Katihar. In these districts, the wind speed with gust is likely to be 40 to 50 km per hour. There is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain in these districts.

There is a possibility of rain in all the 19 districts of South Bihar. But in Kaimur, Arwal, Aurangabad and Jehanabad, heat wave may also occur in the afternoon. But there is a possibility of rain in between. In other words, there will be humid summer in these four districts. There is a possibility of moderate rain in all the remaining 15 districts and there is also a strong possibility of thunderstorm and thunderstorm.

In view of this danger, yellow alert has been issued in all 19 districts of South Bihar. The wind speed in these districts is likely to be 30 to 40 km per hour. There will be a break in heat wave from tomorrow onwards. And there is a possibility of decrease in temperature also.

How was 20th May?

On 20th May, rain was recorded in many districts. In this, heavy rain was recorded in the form of 80 mm in Forbesganj and 72.4 mm in Kishanganj. Apart from this, moderate rain was recorded in many districts. Due to this change in weather, a huge decrease has also been observed in the day temperature.

On May 20, the maximum temperature of Bihar was recorded at 41.2°C in Aurangabad and Dehri. Whereas on May 19 it was 44.9°C. This means that on 20th May, there was a decrease of up to ten degrees in the day temperature as compared to 19th May. There is a possibility of rain till 26th May. The temperature is going to drop further.
