Water Metro in UP: Preparations to run the country’s second water metro in UP have been completed. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also start it next month. This water metro running in Ayodhya has been built in Cochin Shipyard.

In this context, the government has also made preparations to run UP’s first water metro (Water Metro in Ayodhya) in Ayodhya. It will start from January. Next month itself, Ramlala will also be installed in the grand temple.

This water metro running in Ayodhya will be the first for UP. Earlier, water metro has been successfully operated in Kochi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the state’s first water metro on January 22 in Ayodhya. It has been constructed in the shipyard of Cochin and has already left for Ayodhya from there. Two coaches have even reached Ayodhya via Kolkata.

What is the specialty of this metro?

The water metro to be run in Ayodhya will have 50 seats, which will be installed on both the banks. These seats made of iron have been fixed firmly, so that there is no possibility of any kind of accident. This water metro built in Cochin Shipyard will look like a cruise over the Saryu River. The metro will be completely air conditioned, due to which passengers will neither feel cold in winter nor will they have to sweat in summer.

From where to where will the metro run?

Water metro will be run from Naya Ghat to Guptar Ghat. The distance between the two ghats is about 9 kilometers, which will take less than 10 minutes to cover. Currently, it takes about 40 minutes to travel by road between the two ghats, as this requires a lot of detours. After the arrival of water metro, passengers will save half an hour and will also get the pleasure of cruise on Saryu river.

How much will the rent be

Inland Waterways Authority of India has not yet decided the fare of Ayodhya Metro, but it is estimated that the one-way fare could be Rs 20 to 30. Earlier, the fare for the country’s first water metro, which was started in Kochi city of Kerala, is being charged Rs 20. There is also a provision for monthly and weekly passes. It is estimated that on similar lines, booking of water metro in Ayodhya can be done online.
