Lok Sabha Elections 2024 are to be held in seven phases across the country. In which voting will be held in Delhi under the sixth phase. Only eight days are left for voting on seven seats of Lok Sabha (Delhi Lok Sabha Elections 2024) in Delhi.
In such a situation, Delhi Election Office has started distributing voter slips to registered voters. Voter slips are distributed by booth level officers (BLOs). This work will be completed in the next few days.
When are elections in Delhi?
Voting in Delhi will be held on May 25 and for this, 13,641 polling booths have been set up at 2,627 places across the city. There are more than 1.52 crore voters here.
What is Voter Information Slip (VIS)?
Apart from the voter’s information, the voter slip also contains the polling location, polling booth number and serial number of the person in the electoral list, which helps people to cast their vote without any hassle.

Apart from voter card, you will be able to vote by showing these 12 documents
According to the Election Commission, apart from Voter ID, there are many other documents which can be shown to get permission to vote. For this, the Election Commission has released a list of 12 documents, if any one of these documents is present then the vote can be cast. The names of these documents are as follows…
- Aadhar card
- PAN card
- driving license
- Passport
- pension card
- Unique Disability ID i.e. UDID ID
- service id card
- Passbook issued by post office and bank
- Health Insurance Smart Card issued by Labor Ministry
- Smart card issued by RGI under National Population Register (NPR)
- Official ID card issued for MP-MLA and MLC
- MNREGA job card
If you have a Voter ID and your name is not in the Voter List (Check your name in the Voters List of Delhi) then you cannot cast your vote. At the same time, if your name is in the voter list (Search your name in voters list) and you do not have a voter ID, you can still cast your vote using the document specified by the Election Commission.
At the same time, those who have not received the Voter Slip (Download Voter Slip), they do not need to worry. You can download Voter Slip Online using Voter ID number.
How to Download Voter Slip Online?
You can follow the steps below to download your voter slip online:
Step 1: Log in to the official NVSP website.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Search in Electoral Roll’ tab on the homepage.
Step 3: Select any one of the options – ‘Search by Details’, ‘Search by EPIC’ or ‘Search by Mobile’.
Step 4: Enter the required information and captcha code and click ‘Search’.
Step 5: The system will provide your details. You can further check if your details are correct by clicking on ‘View Details’ under the ‘Action’ column.
Step 6: The voter details will be displayed. Click on the ‘Print Voter Information’ button.
The ECI has provided convenient ways for voters to look for their names in the Electoral Rolls online. Thus, you can easily view your Voter ID details and download voter slips without any hassles as per your convenience.
