The Bihar government has given a big gift to the common man in the state. In the cabinet meeting chaired by the state CM Nitish Kumar, it has been decided to cut the registration fee of vehicles.

In such a situation, now the people of Bihar will not have to go to other states to buy a vehicle. This decision has been taken to promote the purchase and registration of vehicles in Bihar. Earlier the registration fee of vehicles in Bihar was much higher than other states. In such a situation, many people preferred to buy vehicles from other states. Due to this, the Bihar government was suffering a huge loss.

31 proposals have been approved in the cabinet meeting held on 21 August 2024 under the chairmanship of state CM Nitish Kumar. Registration of new vehicles in Bihar will not have much impact on your pocket. Nitish cabinet has approved the proposal to reduce the registration charge of bikes, autos, cabs etc.

How much registration fee will be charged on which vehicle?

Now in Bihar, instead of Rs 1500, Rs 1150 will have to be paid for registration of a motorcycle. Registration fee for auto has been reduced from Rs 5650 to Rs 1150. Registration fee for cabs has also been reduced drastically. Earlier, Rs 23650 had to be paid for registering a cab. Now it has been reduced to just Rs 4150. Instead of Rs 23,650, only Rs 4,150 will be charged for cabs. This decision of Nitish Cabinet is expected to increase the sale of vehicles in Bihar. Also, people will get a chance to buy cheap vehicles in their own state.

Corporation employees will get seventh pay scale

In the cabinet meeting, it has been decided to give the benefit of seventh pay scale to the employees of the municipal corporation. This financial benefit will be applicable from 1 April 2017. The financial benefit will be given from the resources of the municipal body.
