Vande Metro Trains in Indian: The Central Government has made a plan to run Vande Bharat Express across the country and currently trains are running on 14 routes. On the same lines, Vande Metro train has also been announced.
The Railway Minister has told that from when Vande Metro trains will run in the country and for which places it will run. On 14 April, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the government is preparing to start ‘Vande Metro’ by December 2023. According to the report of ANI, Ashwini Vaishnav said that these trains will be operated for many cities of the country. This will make the journey of the people easier. Especially these trains can be run for more populated cities.
This Vande Metro will run at a distance of less than 100 kilometers
The announcement from the Railway Minister comes after the successful launch of Vande Bharat Express, semi-high-speed trains in different parts of the country. As per the information, Vande Metro is expected to connect major cities and provide an economical mode of transport. Vaishnav said that “Vande Metro” will run on short distance metro rail network. It will connect cities with a distance of less than 100 km.
Will reduce congestion
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that due to its running, the pressure on local metro trains will reduce and the train will be ready by December. Apart from this, the minister said that these trains will be run with economical fare so that the common citizen can travel in it. He said that the plan to run Vande Metro has been made on the basis of the response of Vande Bharat Express train.

- This train will be manufactured at the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai and the Research Design and Standards Organization (RDSO) in Lucknow.
