Vande Bharat will now run from Mumbai to Shirdi and Solapur, know fare, route and timings

PM Narendra Modi will flag off Mumbai-Solapur Vande Bharat Express and Mumbai-Sainagar Shirdi Vande Bharat Express trains today. The 9th and 10th Vande Bharat Express of Indian Railways will connect the pilgrimage cities of Siddheshwar, Shirdi and Trimbakeshwar.

PM Modi will flag off two trains from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) at around 3:00 pm today. Vande Bharat Express is a semi-high speed AC chair car train service.

This is the timing of Vande Bharat

1. Train No. 22223 Mumbai-Sainagar Shirdi Vande Bharat Express will leave CSMT at 6:20 am and reach Sainagar Shirdi at 11:40 am in 5 hours 20 minutes. It will stop at Dadar, Thane and Nashik Road.
2. In the return journey, Train No. 22224 Sainagar Shirdi – Mumbai Vande Bharat Express will depart Sainagar Shirdi at 5:25 PM and reach Mumbai at 10:50 PM in 5 hours 25 minutes.
3. The Mumbai-Sainagar Shirdi Vande Bharat Express will connect Mumbai with pilgrimage centers in Maharashtra like Nashik, Trimbakeshwar and Sainagar Shirdi.
4. Train number 22226 Solapur – Mumbai Vande Bharat Express will depart from Solapur at 6:05 am and reach Mumbai at 12:35 pm in 6 hours 30 minutes. On the way it will stop at Kurduvadi, Pune, Kalyan and Dadar.
5. Train No. 22225 Mumbai-Solapur Vande Bharat Express will depart from CSMT at 4:05 PM and reach Solapur at 10:40 PM in 6 hours 35 minutes. Both trains will run six days a week.

According to Indian Railways, the Mumbai-Shirdi and Mumbai-Solapur Vande Bharat trains will provide faster connectivity to the pilgrimage towns of Siddheshwar, Akkalkot, Tuljapur, Pandharpur near Solapur and Alandi near Pune. The new Vande Bharat Express will help passengers save 1 hour 30 minutes in travel time as the fastest train on this route currently takes 7 hours 55 minutes.
