There is a possibility of running 2 new Vande Bharat Express trains from Mumbai. In this, the first train will go from Mumbai CSMT to Sai Nagari Shirdi and the second train will go from Mumbai CSMT to Solapur. Both the trains are likely to be flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 10.

The CSMT-Solapur Vande Bharat service was to start from January 19, but its launch was postponed. According to sources, the Vande Bharat trains flagging off ceremony is yet to get clearance from the Prime Minister’s Office, but CR officials have started preparations with senior CR officials visiting CSMT on Sunday to review the situation Is.

Railways has started preparations for the new services Vande Bharat rake is expected to arrive in the first week of February, after which route trails will be conducted. These will be the 9th and 10th Vande Bharat trains and the 7th and 8th trains of the Advanced Vande Bharat-Second Edition. The CSMT-Shirdi Sainagar Express will cover the distance between the cities in 6 hours while the CSMT-Solapur train will cover the distance in 6.5 hours.

0-100 km/h speed in 52 seconds

The new version of Vande Bharat train can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 52 seconds and has a maximum speed of 180 kmph. The air conditioning system is also much better. Also, the facility of side recliner seat, which was earlier offered only to executive class passengers, will now be made available to all classes. The Executive Coach has the additional facility of 180 degree swivel seats.

At present, a Vande Bharat Express train is running from Mumbai, which goes to Gandhinagar, the capital of Gujarat. Vande Bharat Express has been designed to run at a maximum speed of 200 kmph. However, the railway tracks are not suitable for running at this speed, so Vande Bharat trains are being run at a maximum speed of 130 kmph.
