Vande Bharat Train For Chhapra: Indian Railways has started Vande Bharat train for Chhapra Junction in view of the rush of passengers going to Bihar during Diwali-Chhath Puja. This has provided great relief to the passengers going to Bihar.

Next week is Diwali and the next week is Chhath festival. Due to this, trains going to Bihar from all over the country are jam packed. Many people had booked their tickets four months ago. But, there are many people who missed booking their tickets and there is no room in all the trains. In such a situation, there is good news for you. Vande Bharat train has started for Chhapra Junction of Bihar.

In this, you can easily go to your home state on Diwali-Chhath even today. Confirmed tickets are available in this train right now. Chhapra is an important junction in North Bihar. After reaching here, you will reach many districts of Bihar like Siwan, Gopalganj, Vaishali and even Muzaffarpur within a few hours.

Actually, Indian Railways has started Vande Bharat Special train from Lucknow to Chhapra in Bihar. The number of this train is 02270. It departs from Lucknow NR at 2:15 pm and reaches Chhapra at 9:30 pm. This train stops at Sultanpur, Varanasi, Ghazipur, Ballia, Suraimanpur and then Chhapra in Lucknow.

The running of this train has brought great relief not only to the people of Bihar but also to Ballia and Ghazipur in eastern UP. Chhath Puja is also celebrated with great pomp in these areas. This train runs six days a week. This train is not there only on Tuesday. According to the IRCTC website, there are many vacant tickets in this train. There are vacant tickets every day from 27 October till the time of Chhath.

There are two categories of fare

in Vande Bharat train. Chair car and executive car. In this train, the fare of chair car from Lucknow to Chhapra is Rs 1780 while the fare of executive car is Rs 3125. On return, this train departs from Chhapra at 11 pm and reaches Lucknow at 6:30 am. The return fare is Rs 1285. Actually, the base fare in this train is only Rs 1105 but while going from Lucknow to Chhapra, the catering charge is Rs 530. Whereas while coming from Chhapra to Lucknow, only Rs 35 is charged as catering charge. It is night time at that time and food is not served to the passengers during this time.

Relief for Delhiites

The best thing is that this train is also great for those planning to go to Bihar from Delhi. In case you do not get tickets for direct trains going from Delhi to Bihar, you can complete your journey to Lucknow by any other train or UP government buses after Diwali and then catch Vande Bharat Special from there. With this, you can easily reach Bihar on the occasion of Chhath while avoiding the crowd.
