Delhi to Prayagraj Special Train: Railways has given a special gift to the devotees going to Maha Kumbh Mela. Northern Railways is going to run Vande Bharat Special train between New Delhi and Varanasi (via Prayagraj) on 15, 16 and 17 February. This train is being run keeping in mind the convenience of the devotees, so that they can reach the Maha Kumbh Mela easily.
According to Northern Railways, train number 02252 will leave New Delhi at 5:30 am and reach Prayagraj at 12 noon. After this it will reach Varanasi at 2:20 pm.
Increase in the number of crowd in Maha Kumbh
On the return journey, train number 02251 will depart from Varanasi at 3:15 pm and reach New Delhi at 11:50 pm via Prayagraj at 5:20 pm. The railways have run this special train because there is a huge increase in the number of passengers travelling to Prayagraj and Varanasi during the Maha Kumbh.
For the convenience of passengers, ticket booking has started on the IRCTC website. The fare of chair car from Delhi to Varanasi has been kept at Rs 2010 and the fare of executive chair car has been kept at Rs 3765. This train will give comfortable and fast travel experience to the devotees, which will make the Maha Kumbh Yatra even more convenient.
RPF reunited 289 lost people with their loved ones during Maha Kumbh
Apart from the lost and found centers, the Railway Police Force (RPF) has also played an important role in reuniting people who got separated from their families during the Maha Kumbh Mela. Since the bathing festival of January 13, the RPF has reunited 289 lost people with their families.
North Central Railway Inspector General of Police (RPF) Amiya Nandan Sinha said that from the day the fair started till now, 289 people who were separated from their loved ones have been reunited with their families at all the important stations of Prayagraj region such as Prayagraj Junction, Subedarganj, Naini, Prayagraj Chheoki station premises.
