Vande Bharat Express train is becoming the first choice of passengers. Passengers are liking the high level facilities and fast speed of Vande Bharat.

Keeping in mind the convenience and demand of passengers, Railways has decided to run 22347/22348 Howrah-Patna-Howrah Vande Bharat Express from Howrah and Patna from February 13 with 16 coaches instead of eight coaches.

Passengers are enjoying the Howrah-Patna-Howrah Vande Bharat Express, which is the best semi high-speed train of Indian Railways. It was inaugurated on 24 September 2023 with great pomp and grand ceremony.
Operations started on 26 September

The commercial operation of the train started on September 26, 2023, providing better convenience to the passengers traveling between Patna and Howrah.

The 22347/22348 Howrah-Patna-Howrah Vande Bharat Express features an impressive range of 25 new features, designed to enhance the overall travel experience.

According to department sources, the aim of this increase is to accommodate more passengers and enhance travel comfort on this high-speed route.

10 trains will be cancelled between 11th and 14th February

The railway administration will carry out pre-NI and NI work in A cabin of Bandamunda railway station under Chakradharpur railway division between 11 and 14 February. Due to this, the South Eastern Railway Administration has cancelled the operation of 10 passenger and express trains passing through the division on these dates, while three trains will be rescheduled for 1.5 to 2.5 hours. Passengers will have to face problems due to the cancellation of trains.

These trains will be cancelled on these dates:

  • Train number 68043 and 68044 Tatanagar-Rourkela-Tatanagar MEMU from 12 to 14 February
  • Train No. 58659 Hatia – Rourkela Passenger from 11 to 13 February
  • Train No. 58660 Rourkela – Hatia Passenger from 12 to 14 February
  • On February 12, train number 18175 and 18176 Hatia – Jharsuguda – Hatia MEMU Express
  • On 13th and 14th February, train number 18109 and 18110 Tatanagar – Itwari – Tatanagar Express
  • On 14 February, train number 58151 and 58152 Birmitrapur – Barsuwan – Birmitrapur Passenger

These trains will be rescheduled and run:

  • Train No. 18106 Jaynagar – Rourkela Express leaving from Jaynagar station on February 12 will be run two hours late.
  • Train No. 22861 Howrah – Kantabanji Ispat Express leaving from Howrah on 13th February will be run two and a half hours late.
  • Train No. 12872 Titlagarh Howrah Ispat Express leaving from Titlagarh on 13th February will be run one and a half hour late.
