New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express covers the distance of 655 km in 8 hours. It is the fastest train on this route after Jammu Rajdhani Express and Jammu Tawi Duronto Express.

Vande Bharat Train: Indian Railways has changed the schedule of New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Vande Bharat Express. This is India’s second semi-high-speed train. The train was flagged off by Home Minister Amit Shah on October 3, 2019 and is currently being maintained and operated by the Northern Railway Zone.

The time table of New Delhi Vande Bharat Express (22440) at Jammu Tawi and Katra stations has been changed from March 18. Whereas earlier Vande Bharat Express from Katra used to run at 3 pm, from March 18 this train will run at 2.55 pm. This train will reach Jammu Tawi station at 4.08 pm instead of 4.13 pm and will depart from there at 4.10 pm instead of 4.15 pm.

Train No. 22439/22440 New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express will run six days a week in both directions except Wednesday. This new time table will be effective from March 21, 2024. At present the train runs on all days of the week except Tuesday. New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express covers the distance of 655 km in 8 hours. It is the fastest train on this route after Jammu Rajdhani Express and Jammu Tawi Duronto Express. Both trains cover the same distance in 08:20 hrs and 08:40 hrs.

New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express has 16 coaches. This includes executive class and chair car coaches. This state-of-the-art train stops at three railway stations during its journey between the two cities. This includes Ambala Cantt Junction, Ludhiana Junction and Jammu Tawi stations.
