Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the Vande Bharat Express train (New Delhi-Una Vande Bharat Train) running between New Delhi and Amb Andaura railway station in Una district of Himachal on 13 October.
Equipped with modern facilities, this train will start running from October 19. To promote tourism in Himachal Pradesh, the country’s fourth semi high-speed Vande Bharat Express train (New Delhi-Una Vande Bharat Train) will start running between New Delhi and Una district of Himachal Pradesh from October 19.
Running at a speed of 130 kmph, this train will not only reduce the time taken to reach Amb Andaura station in New Delhi and Una district, but will also provide luxurious modern facilities to the passengers. The distance of 412 km between New Delhi to Una will be covered in about five and a half hours. This train will run on all days of the week except Wednesday.
This train will leave from New Delhi Railway Station at 5.50 am and will reach Amb Andaura Railway Station in Una District at 11.05 am. Vande Bharat will depart for Delhi from Amb Andaura railway station at 1 pm and will reach New Delhi railway station at 6:25 pm. Vande Bharat train will stop at only 3 stations between New Delhi to Amb Andaura.
Departing from New Delhi at 5.50 am, this train will reach Ambala at 8 am. It will stop here for only 2 minutes and will reach Chandigarh at 8.40 am running at a speed of 110 kmph. Vande Bharat will stop for 5 minutes at Chandigarh station and then reach Anandpur Sahib in Punjab and after halting for 2 minutes will leave for Amb Adaura and will reach Amb Andaura at 11:05 am. In return direction, this train will leave Amb Andaura station at 1 pm and will reach Una station at 1.21 pm.
After stopping for 2 minutes at Una, the train will reach Anandpur Sahib at 2.08 hrs. After walking from there, it will reach Chandigarh at 3.25 pm. There will be a stop of 5 minutes in Chandigarh and then from there it will leave for Ambala Cantt station. It will reach here at 4.13 am. Departing from here at 4.15 pm, Vande Bharat train will reach New Delhi railway station at 6.25 pm.
