New Delhi. After Vande Bharat Express, sleeper will soon run on Vande Bharat track. For this, passengers will not have to wait long. Its coaches have also been ready, now the work of interior decoration is about to start. According to the railway official, the probable time for starting of Sleeper Vande Bharat has also been decided.
According to a senior official of the ministry, the train is being built at ICF Chennai. The train coaches are ready. Now berth and other interior decoration work will start. According to the official, the operation of the country’s first sleeper Vande Bharat Express will start in mid-March. This train will run on long distance routes.
This sleeper bogie will be different from the common coach
All the Vande Bharat Express currently running are chair car only, that is, one can travel sitting in it. These trains return to the same stations from where they originate at night. Now Railways is going to make the journey of Vande Bharat more convenient. There is a plan to run them like a capital. Its sleeper coach will be slightly different from Rajdhani and other premium trains. In this, each coach will have three toilets instead of four. Along with this, a mini pantry is also being made.
Present specialty of Vande Bharat Express
The new Vande Bharat Express is light and can accelerate to 100 km in just 52 seconds. At present, all Vande Bharat trains are fully air-conditioned and have automatic doors. The chair of Vande Bharat train can be rotated up to 180 degrees. The train has GPS based information system, CCTV cameras, vacuum toilets. It also has a provision for power backup.
