With the extension of Vande Bharat to Varanasi, people of Bareilly will find it easier to travel to Ayodhya and Varanasi. Traders, businessmen and entrepreneurs will also benefit from this.
Meerut-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express will now provide darshan of Shri Ram and Kashi Vishwanath. Railways has extended this train to Varanasi via Ayodhya and has released the schedule. The date of its operation will also be announced soon. With the extension of this train, traders, businessmen and entrepreneurs will also benefit from it.
Meerut-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express started operating on 31 August this year, but in terms of occupancy, this train was lagging behind other Vande Bharat trains. For the last two months, efforts were being made to extend this premium train. Rajya Sabha member Dr. Laxmikant Bajpai also met Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and demanded to run this train via Ayodhya to Varanasi. In view of all this, the Railways has announced to run Meerut-Lucknow Vande Bharat via Ayodhya to Varanasi.
