Vande Bharat: Many Vande Bharat trains are being operated across the country. Recently, the second Vande Bharat of Telangana, whose route is between Secunderabad to Tirupati, was run.
This has greatly benefited the devotees going to Tirupati. Now a good news related to this Vande Bharat has come to the fore. Actually, now this train will run at a higher speed than before. In addition, the passenger capacity of Vande Bharat train will increase by more than two times. These changes have been made in view of the huge demand for tickets.
According to ‘India Today’, earlier this train was started with eight coaches, which has now been modified. Now it has been reduced to 16 coaches. Its passenger capacity has also increased to 1,128 from earlier. Now the travel time between the two cities will be saved by at least 15 minutes. Earlier it used to take eight and a half hours for the same distance.
Talking about the number of passengers, till May 15, a total of 44,992 passengers have availed the train service in both the directions. While 21,798 passengers have traveled from Secunderabad to Tirupati by Vande Bharat Express, another 23,194 passengers have traveled from Tirupati to Secunderabad.
The Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express connects the IT city of Hyderabad with Lord Venkateswara’s temple at Tirupati. It was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 8 April. It is also the second semi-high-speed train of South Central Railway (SCR) zone. The train runs on all days except Tuesday. It leaves at 6 am and reaches the destination around 2:30 pm. The train covers a distance of 662 km.
When this train was started, there were only eight coaches, out of which one executive class and seven chair car coaches were included. The train is running with full booking since inception. Now out of total 16 coaches, 14 coaches will be of chair car in which 1024 passengers will be able to travel. Apart from this, two executive class coaches have been installed and 104 passengers will be able to travel in it.
