Katra-Kashmir Vande Bharat Express: Train service for Kashmir is going to start soon. Vande Bharat train can be started on Katra-Srinagar route this month. According to the Times of India report, the first Vande Bharat train for Kashmir can be started in the next 15 days under the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project.

Vande Bharat Express train between Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra (SVDK) to Srinagar can start in the next 15 days. The trial of the train on this route has been successfully completed. Now preparations are being made to run a semi-high-speed train. The responsibility of operating and maintaining the train on this route will be of the Northern Railway Zone. According to the report, the train service of Katra-Srinagar Vande Bharat Express can be started in the next 15 days. Prime Minister Narendra Modi can flag off the first Vande Bharat train running on this route.
How much will be the fare of Katra-Srinagar Vande Bharat train
No official announcement has been made yet regarding the fare of the Srinagar-Katra Vande Bharat Express train, but it is being estimated that the fare on this route will be fixed under the dynamic fare system. It is estimated that the fare of the AC chair car in this train can be between ₹ 1500-1600, while the fare of the executive chair car can be between ₹ 2200-2500.
What will be the timing and route?
This train will stop at stations like Reasi, Sangaldan, Banihal, Qazigund, Anantnag and Avantipora on the way. Talking about the timing, this train which runs 6 days a week will depart from Katra at 8:10 am and reach Srinagar at 11:20 am. It will depart from Srinagar at 12:45 pm and reach Katra at 3:55 pm.
