Vande Bharat Express: Now local passengers in Bihar will also get Vande Bharat train. This will be the first passenger Vande Bharat train for the passengers of Bihar. Passengers traveling in it will get relief from heat and cold. Giving this information, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that currently 12 Vande Bharat trains are running in Bihar, which pass through 15 districts of Bihar.
Investment of 90 thousand crores
The Railway Minister said that this train will also provide direct facility to passengers to travel to short distance cities. Along with this, passengers traveling 300 to 500 km per day will also get benefit. Ashwini Vaishnav said that the Railways is investing about 90 thousand crores in Bihar. Now after the chair car coach, Vande Bharat with sleeper coach will also be operated in Bihar. It will also have 6 AC coaches and 10 general coaches. This train will run at a speed of 140 km per hour. Cultural tourism and industrial facilities have increased in Bihar.
Namo train will run in Bihar
After the success of Vande Bharat in Bihar, now the people of the state will also get the facility of Namo Train. Talking to reporters, Ashwini Vaishnav said that a record Rs 252200 crore has been allocated for the development of Indian Railways in Budget 2025-26. Which is 9 times more than the time of the previous UPA government.
Work is being done in Bihar equal to the entire rail network of Malaysia
Sharing information about the tenure of the UPA government, the Railway Minister said that from 2009 to 2014, an average of Rs 1132 crore was allocated to Bihar every year. Whereas, since 2014, the NDA government has laid 1832 km of new railway line in Bihar, which is equal to the entire rail network of Malaysia. At the same time, work is also going on to install Kavach system on 1783 km of railway track.
