Vande Bharat Express: 5 Vande Bharat trains will start in 45 days, will be flagged off on this route in a week – check route and timing schedule

Vande Bharat Express: At least five new Vande Bharat semi-high-speed trains are going to be launched by the end of June 2023 i.e. in 45 days. One of the five new Vande Bharat trains, the train on the Puri-Howrah route will be launched next week, possibly on May 15.

New Jalpaiguri-Guwahati Vande Bharat train will be started after the start of Puri-Howrah Vande Bharat train. After the New Jalpaiguri-Guwahati train, another Vande Bharat train is expected to run on the Patna-Ranchi route. The Vande Bharat train in Guwahati will be the first in Northeast India. This will be the second Vande Bharat train to be received by West Bengal. Earlier, Vande Bharat train was started on Howrah-New Jalpaiguri route from December 30, 2022 to West Bengal.

This will be the timing

Puri-Howrah Vande Bharat Express will leave Howrah in West Bengal at 5:50 am and reach Puri, Odisha at 11:50 am. According to reports, Vande Bharat will leave from Puri at 2 pm and reach Howrah at 7:30 pm. Meanwhile, the Odisha government has demanded the introduction of more semi-high-speed trains on the Bhubaneswar-Hyderabad, Puri-Raipur and Puri-Howrah routes after the successful trial run of the Vande Bharat Express train on the Howrah-Puri route.

During the trial run, it had stoppages at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur-Keonjhar Road, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Khurda with a halt of two minutes at each station. With pilgrims and tourists flocking to Puri, the abode of Lord Jagannath, throughout the year from the capital of West Bengal, the new semi-high speed train is likely to be an instant hit among visitors, according to travel operators.
