Vande Bharat: 3 new Vande Bharat trains will run from September 15, time-table released; See route chart here

Vande Bharat Express will run from Howrah-Gaya via Dhanbad and Tata-Patna via Gomo. The time table of both the trains has been released. Both trains will run with eight coaches.

Vande Bharat Express going from Howrah to Gaya will leave 45 minutes after the Shatabdi Express from Howrah and will reach Dhanbad 20 minutes after the Shatabdi Express. Shatabdi Express takes three hours and 18 minutes.

Vande Bharat Express will reach Dhanbad from Howrah in 2 hours 53 minutes. Rajdhani Express takes 5 hours 41 minutes to reach Gaya from Howrah. Vande Bharat Express will take one minute less to reach Gaya from Howrah than Rajdhani Express.

On September 15, the Prime Minister will flag off several Vande Bharat Expresses simultaneously. These include Howrah-Gaya and Tata-Patna.

Three trains to arrive in Dhanbad from Howrah in the morning

Currently, to reach Dhanbad from Howrah, there is Shatabdi at 6:05 am and Black Diamond Express at 6:15 am. Now with the introduction of Vande Bharat Express, there will be three trains in the morning.

Black Diamond Express runs daily whereas Shatabdi runs six days a week except Sunday. Vande Bharat Express will also run six days a week. The train will not run from Howrah and Gaya on Thursday.

Tata-Patna Vande Bharat Express will run six days a week except Monday

The Vande Bharat Express running between Tata and Patna via Bokaro and Gomo will run six days a week except Monday. This train will take seven hours and 15 minutes to reach Patna from Tata.

Passengers were disappointed due to the lack of stoppage of Vande Bharat Express running between Ranchi and Varanasi at Gomo, but now the train going to Patna has also been given a stoppage at Gomo.

Gomo to Patna in 3 hours 50 minutes

Currently, Jan Shatabdi Express takes 4 hours 44 minutes to reach Patna from Gomo. The journey from Gomo to Patna will be completed in 3 hours 50 minutes by Vande Bharat Express. The distance from Bokaro to Patna will be covered in 4 hours 35 minutes instead of 5 hours 45 minutes. The trial run of Tata-Patna Vande Bharat Express will be held on 10 September.
