UPI Transactions in September 2022 : The number of digital payment transactions through UPI increased by more than three percent to 6.78 billion in September this year. A total of 6.57 billion (657 crore) transactions were done through UPI in August.
According to data from the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), 6.78 billion (678 crore) transactions took place in September and were valued at Rs 11.16 lakh crore as against Rs 10.73 lakh crore in August.

In July, the value of UPI-based digital transactions stood at Rs 10.62 lakh crore. A perusal of other data from the NCPI framework shows that there were 46.27 crore transactions through IMPS, an instant transfer-based payment system, in September as against 46.69 crore transactions in August. A total of 46.08 crore transactions were done through IMPS in July.
