International UPI payment: For the people of India and Singapore, the Government of India and the Government of Singapore are going to start a wonderful system for payment.
This Realtime payment system linkage between the two countries will start from Tuesday. The PM of both the countries will witness the commencement of this event. UPI from India and Pelau from Singapore have jointly worked on this scheme. Fast money transfer will be possible through this system and it will also be less expensive.
UPI payment between India and Singapore:
Let us tell you that many Indians live in Singapore, as well as relatives of many Indians are also settled in Singapore. The PM of both the countries will see its launch through a video conferencing on Tuesday. It will be launched by RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das from the Indian side and Ravi Menon, MD of the Monetary Authority of Singapore from the Singapore side.
Significantly, in the last few years, India is becoming a fast growing economy in terms of digital payments.
It is being told that this work is being done with the efforts of PM Narendra Modi and by following his guidelines, the digital payment infrastructure is being strengthened. It is India’s effort that the benefits of UPI payment should not be limited to India only. For this, a target has been set to extend its benefits to other countries. It is being said that apart from the students and laborers who have gone from India, the relatives of the people connected from all over India will get its benefit.
