Google Pay Rupay Credit Card: Online payment platform Google Pay has recently made RuPay Credit Card live on its platform. Google Pay has partnered with NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India) for this.
Now you will be able to pay through RuPay Credit Card on Google Pay as well. Google Pay users will be able to link RuPay credit card on their app. And with this you will be able to make payments to online and offline merchants in a few clicks on the app itself.
UPI payment by credit card
cLet us tell you that NPCI has developed a special Rupay credit card in the country. RBI has now allowed UPI payment only through Rupay credit cards. Currently, global companies like Visa and Mastercard have not got the facility to enable UPI payment on their credit cards in India.
Till now customers could make UPI payment by adding debit card to Google Pay, but now UPI payment will be done through credit card through Rupay credit card. Before Google, RuPay Credit Card was available on PhonePe and Paytm. Recently, Paytm has also launched a special credit card in collaboration with RuPay Credit Card and SBI.
Who can use this credit card on Google Pay?
Currently Axis Bank, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, HDFC bank, Indian Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Punjab National Bank and Union Bank of India Rupay credit card holders will be able to link their cards on Google Pay.
How to link RuPay Credit Card on Google Pay?
To make UPI payment with RuPay Credit Card, you must first add it to your Google Pay account.
For this, first open the Google Pay app. Go to Settings and then click on Setup Payment Method.
Now click on Add RuPay Credit Card.
– You will have to enter your card details here – You will have to enter the last six digits of the credit card number, expiry date and PIN etc.
Now you have to tap on RuPay credit card on UPI to activate this option.
Now select the bank which has issued you the RuPay credit card.
Here you have to set a unique UPI PIN.
Now your card is added. Now you can make UPI payment with RuPay Credit Card.
