UP Police Recruitment: The process of recruitment for 60,244 posts in Uttar Pradesh Police has started from Wednesday. Candidates will be able to apply online from 27th December i.e. today. Candidates interested in recruitment to the post of constable in UP Police can apply by visiting the website of Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, uppbpb.gov.in. The application fee for this is Rs 400. The minimum educational qualification for the post of constable is 12th pass. The last date to apply for UP Police Constable Recruitment is 16 January 2024.
After the written examination, physical test will have to be given.
For recruitment to the post of constable, candidates will have to pass written examination and physical test. There will be a written examination after application. The written examination will be of 150 marks, with minus marking for wrong answers. Candidates who qualify the written examination will have physical standards and physical efficiency test.
For the post of constable, the height of male applicants from General, OBC and SC categories should be at least 168 cm. The minimum height for ST category men is fixed at 160 cm. Talking about chest size, it should be 79 cm without expansion and 84 cm after expansion for General/OBC and SC category. The chest of SC category candidates should be at least 77 cm without expansion and at least 82 cm after expansion.

Women can also apply for UP Police Recruitment Examination. The height of female applicants of General / OBC and SC category should be minimum 152 cm. Whereas the height of ST category applicants should be 147 cm. The weight of female candidates should be at least 40 kg.
