UP Cabinet: There is good news from Uttar Pradesh regarding government jobs. The Yogi government has approved the appointment of more than 2214 ad-hoc teachers, who were removed from service in the year 2023, on honorarium in non-government aided secondary schools.

The government has taken this decision on the instructions of the Supreme Court. After the cabinet meeting, Finance Minister Suresh Khanna said that more than 2200 teachers, who were removed from service on the orders of the Supreme Court in the year 2023, are being given the opportunity of reappointment on a temporary honorarium of Rs 25 thousand and Rs 30 thousand.

The cabinet minister said that teachers teaching in class 9 and 10 will be given an honorarium of Rs 25,000 per month and teachers teaching in class 11 and 12 will be given an honorarium of Rs 30,000 per month. This amount will be given to the management. If the school management wants to give more honorarium than this, they can give it from their own pocket.

Honorarium of governor, security guards and teachers increased

After the cabinet meeting, Finance Minister Suresh Khanna said that the increase in honorarium and incentive allowance of 656 security guards posted at the Governor and Finance Minister and 2130 teachers has also been approved. Its benefit will be given to 2130 teachers of 992 government and aided secondary schools of the state.

He said that the incentive allowance of the security guard posted at the CM and Governor has been increased from Rs 12500 to 50 percent of the basic salary and a maximum of Rs 22 thousand. Similarly, vocational teachers used to get an honorarium of Rs 500 per class in Intermediate. Now they will get Rs 750. Also, they will now get a maximum of Rs 20 thousand instead of Rs 15 thousand.
