As the year 2024 approaches, global citizenship financial advisory firm Arton Capital has released the Passport Index for the first quarter of 2024. In this index, the passport of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been given the first place considering it to be the most powerful passport. UAE passport has a mobility score of 180 and has become the most powerful travel document.
UAE passport holders can travel to 130 countries without a prior visa and 50 countries with a visa on arrival. The UAE passport is so powerful that holders can enter 123 countries visa free.
According to a report in Gulf Today, calling UAE the most powerful passport in the world, Arton Capital said that UAE has adopted positive diplomacy due to which its passport has become so strong.
There are many countries including Germany, Spain, France, Italy and Netherlands at second place in this list whose mobility score is 178. That means passport holders of these countries can travel to 178 countries. In third place are Sweden, Finland, Luxembourg, Austria and Switzerland, whose mobility score is 177.
How powerful is India’s passport?
The global ranking of India’s passport has been determined at 66th in the Arton Capital Passport Index. The mobility score of the Indian passport is 77, which means passport holders can travel to 77 countries. Indian passport holders can enter visa free in 24 countries.
At the same time, Pakistan has confirmed its place among the lowest countries in this list. Pakistani passport has got a mobility score of 47 and has become the fifth least powerful travel document in the world. People holding Pakistani passport can get visa free entry in only 11 countries of the world.
