Let us tell you that TRAI is tightening the reins on such 10 digit numbers which are being used for promotional calling and messaging for business purposes. As per TRAI rules, separate numbers are released for promotional purpose. If you make promotional calls from personal number then your number may be closed.

The number of promotional calling has more number of digits and by this a user recognizes that he is getting a promotional call. According to the information, TRAI has also talked to telecom service providers to stop it. As per the rules, if a user is found making promotional calls from a normal number, then his number can be blocked within 5 days.
