Train Cancelled: Railways has canceled 24 trains on this route from 1 December to 28 February, see list here

Due to increasing fog and cold, the Railways has decided to cancel 24 up and down trains in Ferozepur division from 1 December to 28 February. Along with this, 4 trains will be partially suspended.

The railway spokesperson said that this step has been taken keeping in mind the safety of passengers, as traveling can be dangerous due to fog and mist.

Major trains that will be cancelled include:

  • 12209 Kanpur Central-Kathgodam (from December 3 to February 25) and return 12210 (from December 2 to February 24)
  • 12241 Chandigarh-Amritsar (from December 1 to February 28) and return 12242 (from December 2 to March 1)
  • 14003 Malda Town-New Delhi (from December 2 to March 1) and return 14004 (from December 1 to February 27)
  • 14213 Varanasi-Bahraich (from December 1 to February 28) and return 14214 (from December 2 to March 1)
  • 14503 Kalka-Katra (from December 3 to February 28) and return 14504 (from December 4 to March 1)

The trains that will be partially cancelled include:

  • 12279 Veerangan Laxmibai-New Delhi (1 December to 28 February) and return 12280 (1 December to 28 February)
  • 14681 New Delhi-Jalandhar City (1 December to 28 February) and return 14682 (2 December to 1 March)
  • 14506 Nangal Dam-Amritsar (2 December to 1 March)
  • 14605 Rishikesh-Jammu Tawi (2 December to 24 February) and return 14606 (1 December to 23 February)

These changes will be effective till 28 February and passengers are requested to keep their travel itinerary updated as per the schedule issued by the railways.
