New Delhi. After the festivals, people preparing to travel by rail in the marriage season may have to face some trouble today, as Indian Railways has canceled 204 trains.

Of these, 175 trains have been completely canceled while 29 trains have been partially cancelled, which means these trains will not go to some stations. Among these, there are many trains whose operations have been canceled for several days.

Apart from this, 20 trains running late have been rescheduled and routes of 28 trains have been diverted. It is being told that due to repair work, the Railways has decided to cancel the trains. Due to non-interlocking work in Jhansi division, some trains have been canceled while some routes have been changed.

Trains to be canceled today

Railway has canceled 175 trains including Virangana Laxmibai-Lucknow Special, Bina-Damoh Express, Asansol-Bardhaman Special, Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Farukhnagar Express, Fatehpur-Kanpur Central Express. At the same time, 28 trains including Tughlakabad-Yesvantpur Express, Patel Nagar Royapuram Special, Tundla-Agra Cantt Special have been diverted. While rescheduling 20 trains including delayed Koderma-Madhupur Passenger, Hisar-Delhi Junction Special, Mau-Chhapra Express, their timings have been changed.

Line doubling work is going on on Veerangana Laxmibai-Kanpur railway section of Jhansi division.
The non-interlocking work which started from 24th November will continue till 30th November. That’s why some trains have been canceled and some have been diverted.

Changes in train ticket booking system

Passengers can now book unreserved tickets up to 20 km from the UTS ON MOBILE App. This has happened due to changes in the UTS (Unreserved Ticket System) system of the Railways. Earlier, passengers could book general tickets only up to 5 km from the UTS on mobile app. Even now the distance has been extended in the sub-urban areas.
