Gurugram Traffic Rules: In Gurugram, Haryana, people are avoiding following the traffic rules. Due to this, the police is cracking down on those who violate traffic rules. So far in the year 2024, the police have challaned more than 11 lakh vehicles violating the rules. The police have taken Rs 13 crore as fine for these violations.

Gurugram’s DCP Traffic Virendra Vij said that the most traffic violators here are bike riders who ride without helmets. In the last 10 months, the police have arrested 3 lakh bike riders who were not even wearing helmets. Apart from this, the police arrested 1.30 lakh drivers for driving in the wrong direction. The police have also taken action against 1.25 lakh drivers for wrong parking.

DCP said that campaigns are being conducted from time to time to make motorists aware of traffic rules. People are being made aware of the rules so that the motorists follow the traffic rules and avoid accidents. He said that in the last 10 months, 3 lakh people have been fined for riding a bike without a helmet.
