Traffic monitoring first priority
In this circular issued by CP Nagrale to the traffic department, all the traffic police have been asked to stop checking the vehicles as the traffic is increasing on the roads, they have also been asked to give priority to keep an eye on the movement of traffic. Is. It has been said in the circular that if the drivers are violating the traffic rules, then they can be challaned by the traffic police under the provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act.
Action will be taken for not following the rules
They should not be involved in any kind of inspection of vehicles. During joint blockade by traffic police and local police, traffic police will only take action against traffic violations and will not check vehicles. If these instructions are not strictly followed then the Senior Inspector of the concerned traffic post will be responsible.
Boot not checked on mere suspicion
A senior traffic police official clarified that the traffic police should not check the boot of vehicles on the basis of suspicion and should not stop them. He said that our jawans will continue to issue challans against traffic offenses as before and will stop the traffic violators.
