According to a social media post by Delhi Traffic Police, the National Lok Adalat will consider settling the cases of pending or compoundable traffic challans on the Delhi Traffic Police portal by 31 January 2024. This also includes traffic challans issued on commercial vehicles.

According to IPS Hargobinder Singh Dhaliwal, Special Commissioner of Police, Delhi Traffic Police Zone 2, the Lok Adalat initiative is offering a good opportunity to individuals to resolve their pending traffic challans and related legal matters.
