Toll tax will not be levied on these National Highway roads in UP! CM Yogi gave instructions

NHAI Toll Tax: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has once again directed the Public Works Department to make all the roads in the state pothole-free.

In the instructions given this time, the Chief Minister has fixed the date of October 10 by which the roads of UP have to be made pothole-free. Not only this, he has told the NHAI officials that toll tax should not be collected on incomplete highways, as well as to make the roads pothole-free and to get geo-tagging done in all the works being done under the Navnirman Abhiyan and also to connect it to the PM Gati Shakti Portal.

In a meeting with the departments, the CM reviewed the special campaign to make the roads pothole-free. The CM said that as many festivals are going to be celebrated in the coming days, a large number of foreign tourists will also come during this time and walking on the road should be a wonderful experience for anyone coming from outside, so the work of making the roads pothole-free should be done as soon as possible. The CM directed the Mandi Parishad officials to construct roads in rural areas using full depth reclamation technology.

CM Yogi held a review meeting

to make the roads pothole-free. In the review meeting held with the CM, officials from the Public Works Department, Panchayati Raj Department, Mandi Parishad, Irrigation Department, Rural Development Department, Urban Development Department, Housing and Urban Planning Department, Sugarcane Department and Infrastructure and Secondary Development Department were present. During this, the CM instructed the officials that the road construction company and the contractor should also take the responsibility of maintaining the road for the next 5 years after its construction.

The CM said that due to haphazard work being done on the roads, there are chances of accidents, this should be improved and work should be done in the right manner, and after laying sewer lines and pipelines on the roads, they should also be repaired properly.
